Terms & Conditions
1. Who we are
Release Console ("the Service") is provided by Jarred Cooper, an individual seller ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you are entering into an agreement with Jarred Cooper.
2. Acceptance
By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be of legal age to form a contract, and if you use the Service for an organization you confirm you have authority to bind it.
3. The Service
Release Console is a guided workflow for releasing music: copyright, publishing and royalty registration, metadata and codes, distribution and monetization, plus Pro tools such as split sheets, royalty dossiers and sync preparation. The Service provides organizational guidance and is not legal, tax or financial advice. Royalty estimates are illustrative only.
4. Your account
Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, including:
- using it for any unlawful purpose or to make false ownership or split claims;
- fraud, spam, or impersonating others, including in electronic signatures;
- infringing anyone's intellectual property or uploading content you don't have rights to;
- interfering with security: distributing malware, probing or scanning systems, scraping, reverse engineering, or circumventing technical limits;
- reselling or redistributing the Service.
6. Intellectual property
Jarred Cooper retains all rights in the Service, including its software, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your plan. You keep ownership of your music and information; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.
7. Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, renewal, taxes, cancellation and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy. Pro subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
8. Service level
We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may delete your account at any time from your Artist Profile; your data is then deleted.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including lost profits, royalties or data), and our total liability is limited to fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
11. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the parties submit to the courts located in Maryland for any dispute. We may update these Terms and will post the new date above. Questions: otgproductionsandservices@gmail.com.
