Data we collect and why
- Account data (email, password hash, Google sign-in identity) — to create and secure your account. Basis: contract.
- Artist profile and release data (artist name, PRO, IPI, publisher, label, ISRC/UPC codes, release dates, notes) — to provide the workflow and records. Basis: contract.
- Split sheet data (collaborator names, emails, shares, typed signatures, timestamps) — to create and sign agreements. Basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- Subscription status (plan, renewal date) — to grant Pro access. Basis: contract.
- Technical data (IP address, device and browser info, error logs) — for security, fraud prevention and fixing problems. Basis: legitimate interests.
- Support messages — to answer your questions. Basis: contract / legitimate interests.
We don't store your card details; Paddle collects payment information directly.
Who we share data with
- Service providers that host and run the app (cloud hosting, database, authentication, email delivery).
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Collaborators you invite to sign split sheets (they see that agreement).
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
- Authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside your country; we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is deleted or anonymised, except records we must keep by law. Signed agreements may be retained as long as needed to evidence the signature.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your local data protection authority. Email us to exercise these rights; we respond within one month. California residents may request to know and delete their information and won't be discriminated against for doing so.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and per-account data isolation.
Cookies
We use only essential storage needed to keep you signed in and run checkout. We don't use advertising cookies. You can clear them in your browser, but you'll be signed out.
Changes
We'll post updates here with a new date.
